October 10 + 11, 2026
A fundraising run for mental health awareness
30+ runners. Two marathons. One weekend. We're running the Cape Cod and Newport marathons to raise $30,000 for mental health awareness with the Release Recovery Foundation's Unmasking Project.
The Mission
The Unmasking Project exists to break the silence around mental health and recovery. Every mile we run on October 10th and 11th is a mile for someone still hiding behind the mask — and every dollar we raise goes directly to the Release Recovery Foundation, funding access to care for those who need it most.
Some of us are racing a 5K. Some are taking on a full marathon. A few are running back-to-back marathons on consecutive days. All of us are showing up — together.
Our Partner
The Release Recovery Foundation helps individuals and families overcome financial barriers to addiction recovery, mental health treatment, and continued care while building communities that reduce stigma and promote healing.
Since 2021, they have awarded more than $2.5 million in recovery and mental health scholarships across 30+ states.
